Leaf blade orbicular, palmately parted on sprouts and long shoots, abaxially green and subglabrous, base truncate, margin with nearly asymmetric, coarsely notched teeth. 2n = 38*, 40*, 48*. Planted in Gansu, Hebei, Liaoning, Nei Mongol, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shandong, Shanxi, more often in Xinjiang [native to WC Asia, Europe] Only male specimens have been seen by the authors.
